Ceasefire agreement with NSCN-R extended

Government of India (GoI) has extended ceasefire agreement with National Socialist Council of Nagaland –Reformation (NSCN-R) for a year, with effect from April 28, 2018 till April 27, 2019, reports Nagaland Post on April 20. According to a Union Ministry of Home Affairs statement (UMHA), the agreement was signed on April 19, 2018 by Satyendra Garg, joint secretary of UMHA and Viniho Kiho Swu, co-supervisor and Toshi Longkumer, member on behalf of NSCN-R.
