37 Taliban militants and one Policeman killed in Farah Province
37 Taliban militants and one Policeman were killed and seven militants and two Policemen were injured in joint air-strikes conducted by Afghan and United States (US) Forces in Farah District the capital of Farah Province on April 16, reports Khaama Press.
The air-strikes were conducted after Taliban militants launched an attack on security posts in the outskirts of the Farah City. Key ‘commanders’ of Taliban including Mullah Ibrahim, leading a group of 40 militants, Hafiz Niaz Mohammad, leading 30 militants, Haji Basir ‘commander’ of 20 militants and Saleh Moammad who was in charge of a group of at least 10 militants were among those killed.
