Three militants arrested in Manipur

On April 20, a militant of People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK-pro), identified as Toijam Naocha alias Tenden alias Malemnganba Singh was arrested from Kondong Lairembi Haraobung road in Tengnoupal District, reports Imphal Free Press. The arrested militant, according to the Police stated that he was recruited to PREPAK-pro by a militant identified as ‘sergeant major’ Thoiba.

Separately, a militant of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) identified as Leishangthem Rakesh Meitei alias Pamjaba was arrested on April 18 from Imphal West District reports Imphal Free Press.

On the same day, another KYKL militant identified as Laishram Sanahan Meitei was arrested from Khabam Kontha in Imphal West District, reports Imphal Free Press.
