Baloch Liberation Army Targets Pakistani Army Convoy In IED Attack Near Quetta, 10 Personnel Killed

As per the Baloch Liberation Army, 10 personnel of the Pakistani Army on board were killed in the operation.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) reportedly targeted a convoy of Pakistani Army personnel in a remote-controlled IED attack in Margat, near Quetta, Pakistan. According to a press release of the BLA, 10 personnel on board were eliminated in the operation.

“Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters targeted a convoy of occupying Pakistani Army in a remote-controlled IED attack in Margat, a suburb of Quetta. In this operation, an enemy vehicle was completely destroyed and all 10 personnel on board were eliminated,” Baloch Liberation Army Spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch said in the press release, as per IANS.

The incident comes a month after the BLA hijacked the Jaffar Express in Bolan, Pakistan. About 339 passengers were taken hostage in the deadly train hijacking and total of 25 people lost their lives in the incident. The train was heading from Quetta to the northern city of Peshawar when the BLA blew up the track, forcing nine coaches and the engine of the Jafer Express train to stop partially inside a tunnel.
