Taliban Red Unit deputy commander killed in Kunar

Taliban’s Red Unit deputy commander for eastern Kunar province has been killed and an Islamic State (IS) recruiter arrested in Nangarhar province, sources said on Monday. Kunar police spokesman Faridullah Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News that NiazSalim, deputy commander of the Taliban Red Unit, was killed by unknown armed men in Ganjgal area of Sarkano district late Sunday night.
