Taliban Shadow Governor for Helmand Wounded in ASF Air Strike
Lashkargah (BNA) Taliban shadow governor for Helmand was wounded in an airstrike and ten other Taliban were killed.
According to reports, the attack took place last night during a Taliban rally in Nad Ali district when senior Taliban commanders were planning a large-scale attack on civilian and military facilities in the district.
A senior ANA commander in south of the country told BNA that Maulvi Mohibullah, known Sedaqat Taliban shadow governor for Helmand, with ten others were wounded and ten other insurgents were killed.
The senior ANA commander in south of the country says that the air force, based on intelligence information, understood the location of the Taliban gathering in Nadali and targeted them.
In the attack, several Taliban motorcycles were destroyed with their weapons.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
