Twenty-Eight Taliban Militants Killed in Helmand Clashes
Lashkargah (BNA) Twenty-eight Taliban insurgents were killed and 11 others wounded in the latest clashes in Helmand.
The clashes took place last night until this morning in Sangin, Nawa and suburbs of Lashkargah districts following a Taliban attack.
The media office of Atel Corps in south of the country said in a press release that 28 Taliban insurgents were killed and 11 others were wounded in the clashes.
Security forces says that following the Taliban attack on their bases, the air force intervened and targeted the attackers with cooperation of the ground forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
