Taliban Terrorists Killed in Helmand Clashes
Nineteen Taliban insurgents were killed in fighting with Afghan troops in Helmand and ten others were wounded.
Nineteen Taliban insurgents, including three Pakistani fighters were killed and ten other attackers were wounded in the fighting the Atal Corps in the south of the country said in a news release.
Three local Taliban commanders are among those killed.
The corps says, the attackers were targeted from the ground and air when they attacked security checkpoints.
According to another report, two armed men were arrested in Helmand.
The Taliban were arrested and detained last night while carrying out terrorist activities in the outskirts of Sangin district bazaar.
