Drug Traffickers Busted in Kabul, Nangarhar

At least three suspects arrested for drug trafficking charges during multiple operation the Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) carried in capital city Kabul and eastern province of Nangarhar, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs in a statement Sunday.

According to the statement, the CNPA carried multiple operations across Kabul and Nangarhar in combat against illegal drug dealing.

“CNPA arrested three suspects charged with drug trafficking, after CNPA carried several separate Counter-Narcotics operations in Kabul & Nangarhar provinces,” said the MoIA in a tweet.

Officials did not provide further details, but said “CNPA seized 1,990 tablet-K pills, 4kg of hashish & 330kg of bang seeds.”
