One of the attacks happened on a local police outpost in PD2 of Pul-e-Khumri city, the center of Baghlan, in which one security force member was killed and a local police commander and a soldier were wounded, sources said.
The Taliban also attacked a security forces outpost in Chashma-e-Shibar area long Baghlan-Samangan highway in the north of Afghanistan, killing one soldier and wounding three others, sources said.
Local officials said the Taliban attacks were pushed back and that the militants suffered casualties in the attacks.
