US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met his special envoy for Afghanistan Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad and discussed matters related to Afghan peace process.

Sixteen personnel of the National Directorate of Security Mufraza Unite have been killed in the Taliban attack in northern Kunduz province, a well-placed security source said on Friday.

The attack was carried out by the Taliban in Tapa-e-Akhtar area in Khan Abad district, a source said.
