More than a dozen pro-government forces have been killed by Taliban militants in western Herat province, an official said on Saturday.

Two police personnel were killed and a third wounded as a result of magnetic bomb explosion targeted a pick-up in 3rd police district of Kabul on Saturday morning.

Three policemen have been killed and six others wounded in two separate bomb blasts in southern Helmand and northern Baghlan provinces, sources said on Saturday.
